Originally from North Carolina, I called Louisville, Kentucky my home for several years before finally moving to NYC to pursue my long term goal of completing my Master’s degree in music. I’ve worked in Corporate America for many years, all while singing and performing on the side. Eventually, I decided to follow my heart and dreams, leave my fears behind, and challenge myself to go after my goals.
I discovered Agnes and Dora in December of 2016, and immediately fell in love with the clothing before I had even tried it on! It’s beautiful, comfortable, and made me feel confident. My personal A & D wardrobe grew quickly, and although I was the type of person who never imagined myself in sales, I felt strongly lead to become an independent representative. I knew I wanted to share these beautiful clothes and the confidence they bring with other women. Having just completed my Master’s degree, I also needed to find an extra source of income to pay back my student loans, but I wanted to find something I was passionate about.
“You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.” -Woodrow Wilson
I knew I loved the clothes, but I had no idea how much I would fall in love with this company! Agnes & Dora is all about empowering women, encouraging them to be authentic, confident, and courageous. I love our company values, I love the positive and uplifting example corporate sets for representatives, and the incredible sisterhood it creates. I love that the majority of our clothing is made in the USA. I love that our dresses are all named after inspirational women.
I hope you will fall in love with Agnes & Dora, and find something that makes you feel beautiful and confident. If you have any questions about my shop, being a representative, or are interested in hosting an online party to earn free clothing, please contact me using the contact form!
